Runaway advertisement, St Croix 1770–1810

This dataset were created by students at Aalborg University. The advertisements until 1792 were collected by Pernille Wolff-Tæstensen as part of her MA-thesis. The later articles were created by Alexander Jochums Johnsen, Frederik Tange Holmberg Holst, Sarah Lydia Blok Kloster and Sophie Sine Brøndum.

The dataset is a digitised version of a book of convict appearances kept at the prison “Stokhusslaveriet” in nineteenth-century Copenhagen.
